No, no matter how negatively the media has portrayed it so far. It’s always been showing those small self-made crazy cults (often mis-using Christianity) and scare mongering people.

Polygamy is one of the most liberating and natural forms of relationships known to mankind. Benefitting men, but more so women. In the absence of a polygamous society, women are nothing but priced commodities. As a girlfriend, she is ditched with a single text. As a mistress, she has no right to a man’s time and attention, beyond his choosing. She is stripped of her person and literally of her dignity in the guise of porn STAR-domship. She is trafficked like an animal to be rented out as a prostitute. She is sold and fed drugs to numb that soft beautiful soul of hers from reality and when all that is done. She is a nobody…discarded like a used rubber covering.

If the world took on board the Islamic methodology of Polygamy, women would have an equal share in their husband’s treatment, financial help, affection and time. Above all that she would be recognized as an honorable wife, lover, mother, sister, and every warm loving female role model we can think of. In a gist, NO….NO, Polygamy is not bad. It just benefits large scale business to make you afraid of it.
