No doubt, Polygamy would allow men to have multiple wives, thus reducing extramarital affairs and cutting down prostitution. As for women, especially those that are widows, divorced or have a few children, who are seen as baggage ladies will now get a husband and someone to love and look after them. The end result is that both men and women would be happier if polygamy was accepted again. And, there are numerous studies that children from polygamous families are more prepared for the wider world compared to children from monogamous and single parent families.
